Read Anime Hajime’s review of Kageki Shoujo

With a never-give-up attitude and boundless energy, Kageki Shoujo’s Sarasa Watanabe isn’t all that impressive when we first meet her. From the outset, she appears to be like so many other fish-out-of-water characters. 

However, as the story continues and we learn more of her backstory, Sarasa becomes much more substantial.

She is earnest, hard-working, and dedicated to her craft. Her whole life, people have told Sarasa that she can’t do this or she is not the right fit for that. From her height to her gender, Sarasa has always had to prove herself. And more often than not, she leaves her critics speechless.
