Read Anime Hajime’s review of Tokyo Revengers

There is no other way to say it. When we first met Tokyo Revengers’ Takemichi Hanagaki, he was the definition of a loser who peaked back in middle school  And the person who knew that the best was Takemichi himself. 

Because of that, though, Takemichi was not going to waste his second chance. The problem was, although he knew the future, it didn’t make him physically stronger. 

This show put a ton of emphasis on the fact Takemichi wasn’t much of a brawler. To compensate, he had to call upon a much more significant strength.

Despite constantly getting his teeth kicked in, Takemichi was the last one standing. He was the kind of character who could rally those around him. He was someone you wanted to follow since he never made empty promises.
