Read Anime Hajime’s review of To Your Eternity

We talk about characters who start from nothing. Well, To Your Eternity’s Fushi literally started as nothing. Had things gone a different way, it is entirely possible Fushi would have stayed as a lifeless orb.

However, as this series’s story progressed, Fushi gradually – sometimes painfully – became this being who had witnessed and felt all the aspects of the human condition. Fushi experienced great happiness and tremendous success, as well as crippling loss and crushing defeat.

And what’s even more impressive, Fushi’s tale is nowhere close to over. Given the nature of his character, we could be seeing this immortal traveler for many more years to come.
