The Set-Up
Yeah, this episode wasn’t that great. Every Yamishibai season has at least one dud (often more), and this was definitely one of them.
For one, it would appear as though our protagonist was always going to fail. I’m not sure how she could have gotten out of this situation had she chosen to believe the warnings. And besides, her special item seemed wildly disproportionate to everyone else’s.
